Listed for consecutive years in Legal 500. 2014 edition describes me as someone who “relentlessly pursues the prison authorities”. 2013 suggests “excellent advocate” under Civil liberties and human rights.

I am currently a Committee member for the Association of Prison Lawyers. I sit on both the Parole Standards Board and the Parole Board User Group. I am involved with several projects to improve the parole process.


Qualified as a Barrister in 2005 and cross qualified as a Solicitor in 2011.

I am a specialist parole lawyer whom has a wealth of experience of representing prisoners with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders before the Parole Board.

I have a particular interest in prisoners whom maintain their innocence.

I have significant experience of public law matters and always have an active Judicial Review case load often encompassing Human Right issues.
